Yeah! Goodbye oven-older-then-me-and-didn’t-close-properly – and hello brand new Smegg oven! Oooooo feels fancy.
I wonder how many dishes I’ll burn in the new oven and the gas stovetop.
Yes. Gas. Stovetop.
Going from an old-fashioned electric coil stovetop to an amazing gas stovetop. Ah…I can see the wok in action now. Probley followed by a scream and a frantic grab for the fire blanket!
But its all experience right? With so many perfect meals, you have to go through the bad and the burnt to rise above…..or something to that affect.
But I’m currently in between kitchens at the moment. Majority of the cookware and the rest is in boxes waiting to be unpacked at the new place. In the kitchen I have two saucepans, a wok, small frypan and just enough utensils and crockery for two. Which to my other half’s dismay, meant he has to drink everything out of his one mug!
So any wine with dinner this week, looks like it’ll be from a mug! How classy! Hehe ah but this is how moving is meant to be.
Unfortunately this means I’m late with this month’s cookbook. Maybe I’ll have to do two next month, or just one SUPER awesome one! *Ponders*
So while everything is a bit everywhere, and pretty much all meals are served in the same black bowls each night I’ll leave a few exciting or interesting photos and sorts for the imagination.
Cream colored walls and shiney Smegg faces
Farewell to stairwells, and a cooktop that ceases
Wild nights that fly with dreams of puddings
These are a few of my favourite things
New with white benches and dishwasher for dishes
Downlights that shine and light to my wishes
Safely locked doors and
These are a few of my favourite things
When my legs hurts
When my head rings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
And then I don’t feel so bad
